Everybunny

Let's talk Easter card.  I was thrilled when I was going through my designer paper and found this sheet in the "Birds of a Feather" pack of designer paper.  It was perfect for this Easter card.  Here are the supplies that I used to make this card:

Easter Blessings

This card is using the new single stamp in the Spring Catalog called -- Easter Blessings.  It's located on pg. 24 of the catalog and costs $8.95.  The order number is #129183.  Here I used Very Vanilla, Marina Mist, and the Print Poetry Designer Paper Stack (also in the spring catalog).  I stamped the words with Marina Mist onto an oval cut out using the new Oval Framelits and finished it off punching the little tiny holes using the Occasions Paper-Piercing Pack (also in the spring catalog).

I cased this card from one of my demonstrators in my group, Chris Frake.  She brought this card to show at our last meeting and I knew I had to make it.  Thanks Chris!  

I cut the 3 pieces of designer paper "Everyday Enchantment) at 1-5/8" x 3-3/4" and adhered it to a piece of Very Vanilla.  Ran it through the Big Shot using the "Square Lattice" Embossing folder (#119976).  I then stamped the "Easter Dove" (#125455) on Very Vanilla and cut it out using our new "Labels Collection" Framelits (#125598). I cut the next largest size of Framelits using the "Lucky Limeade" card stock.  Tied the ribbon on and popped it up using Stampin' Dimensionals.

That whole piece is then layered onto a 5-1/4" x 4" piece of Lucky Limeade and then onto the Very Vanilla card (5-1/2" x 8-1/2"). 

Easter Chicks

Sorry, I've been missing for a few days posting on my blog.  I've been busy working around the house and getting ready for Easter.   Here's a perfect card for Easter.

Easter Bunny Baskets

We made the little boy bunny basket at my last stamp club last week.  Aren't they adorable?  The little baskets (made from the square scallop die) will hold a few pieces of candy or chocolate.  This idea came from Dawn Griffith, a fellow demonstrator. 

I used the 3rd largest heart from the new framelits (#125599) for the head; the handle measures 1/2" x 8"; Square Scalloped Die (for the basket) and the rest was using our punches. I used our black marker & white gel pen to add the whiskers, eyelashes, and the sparkle in the eye.

Mixed Bunch

I wanted to share with you a card that we made at my downline meeting Monday night.  This was the make & take Roxanna McCulloch had us make.

Easter Bunny

I wonder what's he's up to??  Hmmm!  Could he be stealing eggs for Easter?

We made this card last night at one of my stamp clubs.  I wanted to share it with you.

Paper:  Whisper White, Basic Black, Pretty in Pink, Subtles Pattern Designer Paper
Ink:  Basic Black, Crumb Cake, Pretty in Pink Marker (toes)
Other:  1-3/8" Circle Punch, Large Oval, Small Oval (retired), Boho Blossoms punch

Easter Dove

This card is so simple but beautiful for Easter.  Card is whisper white (5-1/2" x 8-1/2"), Wisteria Wonder layer (5-1/4" x 4").

You take the Wisteria Wonder and run it through the Big Shot using the "Elegant Bouquet" Embossing Folder.  Then you run it again through the Big Shot using the "Designer Frames" Embossing Folder. 

HINT:
Here is the sandwich that I used for the "Designer Frames":  Multipurpose Platform completely closed (using Tab 2), the embossing folder with the card stock inside, silicone pad, cutting mat.  This will keep the outline of the little embossing folder to impress on the card.

Stamp the "EASTER DOVE" stamp (#125455) onto a scrap of Whisper White card stock and punch out using the XL Oval Punch (#119859).

To finish off the card I spritzed the card using a mixture of rubbing alcohol and our Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint (#116806).  This gives it a slight shimmer.  I then added our Basic Pearls (#119247) to each flower.
