Faux Dry Embossing with Serene Silhouettes

005This is an interesting technique.  I believe it's called "faux dry embossing".  First you stamp the image with VersaMark ink and emboss with white powder, and then you stamp again in a darker color just a smidge to the left and down where you embossed.  A stamp-a-ma-jig would be fantastic tool for this. I received this in a swap and it doesn't have a name on the card.

Supplies used:
Stamps:  Serene Silhouettes, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Paper:  Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Whisper White, Crisp Cantaloupe
Ink:  VeraMark, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake
Other:  White Embossing Powder, Crumb Cake seam binding ribbon, Beautiful Wings Embosslit, Big Shot, Essentials Paper-Piercing Pack, Paper-Piercing Tool, Stampin' Pierce Mat, Heat Tool, Stripes Embossing Folder, Apothecary Accents Framelits
