Being from the state of Ohio, I decided to make this card Scarlet and Gray (colors of Ohio State). I'm sorry to say that the bow tie (from Dapper Dad), the saying (from Best Dad Ever), and the Gray striped designer paper all retired on June 3rd.
We made this card at my Masculine Card Shop class last month. I used the stamp set -- Clockworks (located on pg. 109 in the annual catalog - Wood - #131973; Clear - #127292). I used the following supplies: Night of Navy Cardstock, Whisper White, Crumb Cake Classic Ink Pad, Night of Navy Classic Ink Pad, Gold Brad.

Today is the SUDSOL Blog Tour. Our blog tour is featuring projects using either the Sale-A-Bration or Spring Catalog stamp sets and products.
I CASED this design from a card that I received at Leadership from Connie Deibler. I changed it up a bit using different colors and a different saying.
The hint on this one.....I put all four heart stamps on the acrylic block at the same time.

I made this card for a swap for my downline meeting last Monday night. Our theme for the swap was masculine card. This fit the bill perfectly. The set comes with four sayings (happy birthday, thinking of you, happy father's day, and of course best dad ever). The order number is #120399 (wood-$18.95) and #120681 (clear-$14.95).
Here are the supplies that I used: Stamps: Best Dad Ever (#120681) Paper: Basic Black, Real Red, Whisper White, Neutral Designer Paper Ink: Black Stazon, Real Red Other: Red Rhinestone Brad
Please contact me if you would like to place an order or if you have any questions!
I received this swap at the regional in Louisville. It was made by Katie Grembowski. I loved the design of the card and her selection of designer paper (Well Worn). I will definitely duplicate this card. The stamp set is "ZOO REVIEW" #122199 located on pg. 105 in the catalog. It looks like she bleached the stripes on the zebra and the background on the giraffe. Great masculine card.
Patricia Gessner, one of the gals in my downline, showed us how to make this card at one of our meetings. We used the stamp set "The Open Sea", and the "Nautical Expedition" designer paper (#122343). This stamp set will be going away on Wed., Aug. 31st. when the Summer Mini Catalog will end.
