This card reminds me of a patchwork quilt. I guess it's a stamper's version of a patchwork quilt. I started out with a piece of white card stock measuring 5-1/4" x 4". I then applied adhesive all over it, and applied strips of designer paper (from Be of Good Cheer) to completely cover it. Then using the "Apothecary Accents" framelits and the Big Shot I cut out the design.
Stamps: Greetings of the Season Paper: Whisper White, Cherry Cobbler, Gumball Green, Be of Good Cheer Designer Paper Ink: Cherry Cobbler Other: Apothecary Accents Framelits, Lacey Brocade Embossing Folder, Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding Ribbon

Here is one of the cards that we made at one of my Christmas stamp-a-stacks this month. It's using the stamp set - Winter Memories - located in the holiday catalog on pg. 19. Here we used Soft Suede as the card base. Embossed the added layer using the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder. I cut the vanilla piece using the Apothecary Accents Framelits. We sponged an oval using Crumb Cake, stamped the ice skates in Soft Suede and colored in the holly using either a marker or blender pens. We finished the card by adding a bow using our baker's twine.
