The technique that I used on the tree is called - THUMPING. You ink the whole stamp with the light color classic ink (Mellow Moss). I took the Soft Suede marker and colored in the trunk of the tree, and then using the side of the marker touched or "thumped" the marker randomly all over the tree. I then breathed on the stamp to make sure it was moist and stamped on the cardstock.

LOVELY AS A TREE
This is a card that we made at my "Trees and More Trees" class last month. It's using the "Lovely as a Tree" and "Garden Greetings" stamp sets. The Garden Greeting set is on the dormant list but still available to purchase.
