Trendy Trees

I stamped the swirly design (from the Trendy Trees set) using More Mustard on the More Mustard piece of cardstock.  I then stamped the tree trunks using Soft Suede, and the leaves using More Mustard and Dusty Durango.  Use a stamp-a-ma-jig if you are concerned about aligning everything up. Layer onto Soft Suede.  Finish off the card with the Dusty Durango polka dot ribbon.

Soft Suede:  5-1/2" x 8-1/2", 2-1/8" x 4"
More Mustard:  4" x 5-1/4"
Whisper White:  1-7/8" x 3-3/4"

Medallion Cards - Crushed Curry

Stamps:  Medallion, Garden Greetings

This card was inspired by Debbie Tompkins.  The card measures 5-1/4" square.  I started with a 5-1/4" x 10-1/2" piece of white card stock.  Layered with CRUSHED CURRY (measuring 5" square).  I cut a scallop circle using the Big Shot machine and the "Scallop Circle" Bigz die (#113468), and then stamped the medallion using the Crushed Curry ink onto the scallop circle

Medallion Card - Part 2

Here is another card using the MEDALLION background stamp.  I stamped the medallion stamp directly onto the card using Brocade Blue, and then again on Whisper White cardstock.  I cut the image down and layered it with Basic Black.  I Stamped the "Just For You" in Brocade Blue, punched it out with the large oval, and then layered it with black using the scallop oval punch.  I added a rhinestone brad to add some sparkle.

Medallion Card - Part 1

What fun I've had playing with this new background stamp - Medallion.  This card was created by inking the stamp with CRUSHED CURRY.  Then I took a sponge dauber and pulled ink from DUSTY DURANGO and SOFT SUEDE pad and tapped it all over the stamp with the two colors.  Isn't it beautiful?  I can see lots of color combinations possibilities.  Let me know what you think!

Diva Coffee Break Designs Challenge #142

I've been asked if I would be interested in being one of the designers on the DIVA COFFEE BREAK DESIGNS Team.  I said YES!!  There are 9 of us on this design team.  Here is what we do.  Each week we're given either a card sketch or a combination of colors to create a card.  Every Wednesday you will see my card posted here on my blog that I've made and submitted.
